Jon M. Voegele, MBA, ChFC, CLU, from COUNTRY Financial is a regional vice president of agency from their Illinois region.
Voegele grew up in Seattle and began his career in 1989 with COUNTRY Financial as a financial representative in the Seattle/Bellevue Agency. In 1994, he became an agency manager and over the next five years, served in three different agencies in the state of Washington. In 1999, Voegele moved into a district director of agency position overseeing agency managers and representatives in the state of Oregon, with over 200 financial reps. Since December 2008, Voegele has served as the regional vice president of agency for the Illinois region (approx. 975 financial reps).
Achievements: Western Region Rookie of the Year, three Agent of the Year awards, Western Region Agency of the Year, three-time Western Region District of the Year, and in 2008, the district was awarded the GAMA Leadership Team Award.
Voegele is a business/marketing graduate from the University of Washington and holds an Executive MBA from the University of Oregon. He also graduated from the COUNTRY Leadership Development Program, and Leadership McLean County, Illinois. Jon holds the following designations: Chartered Financial Consultant(CHFC), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).
He is a member of General Agency Manager Association (GAMA) and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and is a board member and national committeeman of the Bloomington-Normal NAIFA. Voegele currently serves as the president on the board of directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Bloomington-Normal.
He has been married to Edith (25 years), with two sons, Chris (20), attending the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, and Jordan (15), a Sophomore at Normal Community, who plays hockey and just made the Voice Male (A Capella) Group.
