Faisa believes that buying life insurance is one of the purest acts of love: love for someone else. That’s why she’s adamant about sharing Life Happens’ educational message, so that more people are empowered to protect their loved ones financially. She has spoken about the importance of life, disability and long-term care insurance, as well as annuities, with a wide range of media outlets such as Yahoo, Business Insider, AOL Finance, Ebony, Forbes, NerdWallet, and local and national TV and radio stations.
As Life Happens’ first female president and CEO, Faisa leads the non-profit’s strategic direction and operations. She has been with Life Happens for over 18 years and was a part of the team that created the first Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) campaign in 2004.
Faisa practices what she preaches. She financially protects her husband, two daughters and their cats with insurance.
