Every day, millions of Americans put their families’ financial futures at risk by not owning any life insurance or by not having enough coverage. Part of the problem is that many people don’t feel they know enough to make an informed buying decision and don’t know where to turn for help. Eight in 10 Americans find it difficult to decide how much and what type to buy and worry about making the wrong decision. That’s why each September the nonprofit LIFE Foundation brings the life insurance industry together in support of Life Insurance Awareness Month.
